I am a tutor who excels in mathematics and believes interdisciplinary learning is important. I'm available to tutor algebra, pre-calculus, calculus, geometry, elementary math, middle school math, trigonometry, arithmetic, and other math subjects. Although I specialize in tutoring math, I can also work with students on their writing, literature, Spanish, English, and history. I've worked as a freelance web developer so I can help students with computer science and programming. I received my degree in Mathematics from Bridgewater State University. I have worked with students of many different ages in a variety of environments, from middle school students up through college students. It has been a privilege to tutor students and my experiences have given me new perspectives and teaching insights. I'm passionate about technology and computer programming, and I like tutoring algebra because algebraic concepts apply to these areas. I highly value interdisciplinary education, and I believe it is beneficial for students to have a good understanding in a variety of subjects because they each build off of one another. I am excited to work with any student to help them achieve their academic goals! When I'm not tutoring I enjoy playing the guitar, reading good fiction books, and playing Scrabble competitively.
